Cardi B lidera a lista deste ano!

Em 5 de outubro, o BET Hip Hop Awards de 2019 fará seu retorno triunfante ao Cobb Energy Center de Atlanta, depois de passar férias em Miami nos últimos dois anos. Depois de superar seus pares com oito indicações em 2018, este ano, Drake desliza para o terceiro lugar com sete, permitindo que Cardi B lidere o grupo com honras de dois dígitos.

Depois de conquistar quatro vitórias nas festividades do ano passado, Cardi busca conquistar mais vitórias desta vez com suas 10 indicações, incluindo MVP do Ano, single do ano, hot ticket performer, hustler of the year, melhor colaboração, made-you-look award, dois acenos para o melhor vídeo de hip-hop e mais. Embora Cardi não tenha lançado seu segundo álbum em 2019, ela ficou ocupada lançando bangers para o hot 100 com  “Money”, “Press” e “Please Me”.

Há uma disputa de três pessoas para o segundo lugar, com DJ Khaled, Travis Scott e J. Cole, cada um com oito indicações. Apesar de sua morte no início deste ano, Nipsey Hussle se afasta com um punhado de acenos, fazendo cinco. Quanto aos recém-chegados, Megan Thee Stallion pega cinco, enquanto DaBaby fecha a loja com quatro.

Também haverá uma nova categoria este ano, considerada o melhor stream internacional, que destacará artistas de diferentes países, como Nigéria, Reino Unido, França, África do Sul, Gana e Canadá. O BET Hip Hop Awards de 2019 será transmitido terça-feira (8 de outubro)
