MTV VMA 2021: Veja a lista completa de vencedores

Os vencedores do MTV VMA 2021 foram anunciados no domingo, com uma transmissão apresentada por Doja Cat que viu a cerimônia retornando à cidade de Nova York.

Quando os nomeados foram anunciados pela primeira vez em agosto, Justin Bieber liderou a classe de 2021 com nove nomeações no total. Megan Thee Stallion , BTS e Giveon seguiram de perto, com sete indicações cada. Também entrando no domingo à noite com várias indicações cada estavam Drake, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Dua Lipa e – marcando uma estreia histórica – Doja Cat.

Além das categorias principais, a cerimônia deste ano também mostra o Foo Fighters recebendo o primeiro prêmio US Global Icon Award. O Global Icon Award se origina das festividades do Europe Music Awards da MTV, com ganhadores de EMAs anteriores, incluindo Eminem e Whitney Houston.

A cerimônia deste ano – que também apresenta performances de Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X com Jack Harlow, Kacey Musgraves, Machine Gun Kelly com Travis Barker e mais – segue uma iteração de 2020 que mais do que tirou o melhor proveito das condições de pandemia. Keke Palmer apresentou a experiência de visualização exclusivamente criada daquele ano, que incluiu uma performance memorável do BTS e uma versão medley de Lady Gaga e de Ariana Grande para a música “Rain on Me”.
