Principais artistas do hip hop levaram para casa os prêmios do Billboard Music Awards que aconteceu no domingo a noite
A cerimônia do Billboard Music Awards de 2022 foi realizada na noite de domingo, com Drake, The Weeknd, Doja Cat e mais, no intuito de levar para casa os principais prêmios do evento. Várias das maiores honras já foram anunciadas. Drizzy foi revelado para sair com o prêmio de Melhor Artista, enquanto Olivia Rodrigo foi selecionada como a Melhor Nova Artista.
The Weeknd também garantiu uma vitória para Melhor Artista Masculino de R&B. O evento foi apresentado por Diddy, que também se apresentou durante o evento com Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow e Teyana Taylor. Outras apresentações incluiram Morgan Wallen, Silk Sonic, Ed Sheeran e Megan Thee Stallion. “Esta noite é especial, muito, muito especial, porque todos nós temos uma segunda chance na vida”, disse o rapper apresentador no palco.
“Essa é a mensagem que eu realmente quero trazer a vocês… coisas garantidas. Entre no seu divino, fique na sua zona e seja livre… essa é a frequência mais alta, essa é a frequência de Deus. … Quando um de nós ganha, todos nós ganhamos. … Eu disse aos produtores, eu não estou ouvindo nada do que eles dizem, porque eu sou um mano livre! Tome seu tempo, perceba as coisas a sua volta!” Além disso, Doja Cat venceu categorias “Melhor artista de RnB” e “Melhor álbum de RnB”.
