A edição 2020 do MTV VMAs está oficialmente no passado, coroando The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion e mais como vencedores.
Podemos estar no meio de uma séria pandemia global, mas isso não impediu os grandes nomes da da cena musical de celebrar a si mesmos e sua arte na edição 2020 do VMAs da MTV. Com apresentações de Doja Cat, The Weeknd, BTS, DaBaby e mais, um grupo das estrelas mais brilhantes de hoje saiu vitorioso e fez discursos de aceitação para tirar nossas mentes de todas as coisas malucas que acontecem em nosso mundo.
Lady Gaga foi a grande vencedora da noite, levando para casa uma boa parte dos prêmios mais importantes. Ela saiu com Artista do Ano, Canção do Ano com “Rain On Me” com Ariana Grande, Melhor Colaboração para a mesma faixa e muito mais. Quanto ao importante prêmio de Vídeo do Ano, The Weeknd saiu com o Moonman por “Blinding Lights”.
O hip-hop foi bem representado ao longo da noite quando Doja Cat ganhou o prêmio de Melhor Artista Revelação, Megan Thee Stallion foi coroada por “Savage” e Machine Gun Kelly recebeu o prêmio de Melhor Alternativo.
